Under the umbrella of Futures West, the Future Campus Project is a speculative research exercise that asked UWS design students to use their skills as visual communication designers to imagine the dynamic, sustainable campus of the future by carefully exploring the problems and opportunities represented by the campus of today. Through our primary and secondary research over serval weeks, we developed a rich scope of possibilities for the future sustainable campus, building representative personae and generating exciting, human-centered, and relevant visual narratives of future campus life. Here are some of my visual outcomes towards the end of my project. My team focused on the campus as lab, or the "Experimental Campus." This type of campus is vibrant and dynamic, filled with tests and experiments, allowing students and staff to perform research and apply their knowledge. Innovation and progress are at the core of the Experimental Campus.
