Role / Logo Design
This is the result of the re-brand of my identity as a freelance graphic and web designer. It started as merely a uni assignment to create a logo for ourselves, but I took the opportunity to re-design my logo and I aimed to actually incorporate the new logo into my actual brand as a freelancer. Alongside this website which functions as my portfolio and a resource for other designers and design students. I wanted to create something original and yet clean and simple to enhance memorability and make it easy to be recognised in different contexts and function with minimal colour. I decided I wanted a custom typographic mark, but that was much easier said than done. My university tutor Katrina and my girlfriend Tara, (an illustrator) helped a lot with the design of the mark. It definitely needs some tweaking, but overall, I'm quite happy with it.
